I have the 35 L version and it is fantastic ! If it's big enough for a week or so it is big enough for months, just have to learn to use a washing machine and dryer once a week. Personally I wish it had lockable zips and even though the stowable straps are a solution for brief case mode, minaals cover idea is faster and easier. Still its the bag I choose, expensive yes but have learned over the years, buy once cry once.

My packed backpack is messy. When I unzip, things fall out. 😊 I only use Daiso US$1.50 zipper "cubes" in luggage for socks, underwear & swimming stuff. I realized that these packing organizers are quite wonderful.

This is pretty much still the standard pen in German schools. I would remove the converter and fill it directly. Actually I would prefer empty cartridges with a rubber seal that I could fill using a syringe. The converter mechanism uses up too much space. Sadly the disposable cartridges cannot be reused as they only establish a good seal on the first insertion.

I do it faster. Clean the sink with detergent first. Plug up the sink. Fill up with water & add a bit of concentrated liquid detergent (not powder because powder is harder to wash out of clothes & cause itchiness). Hand scrub the clothing individually. Unplug sink. Bring clothes to shower head & spray clothing inside & out one by one (prevents further clogging up of sink with fibers & cleaner rinse.). Wring dry. Finish.

Wow. It's $42 CAD more from the ATM than Google rate.

Trying to do a 3 months trip to the US this winter with just carry-on luggage. This looks like a nice backpack for this. I just wish they offered a 40l version, since the 45l seems to be slightly above the international dimensions for carry-on luggage (at keast the spec dimensions are larger)

Still searching for a decent hard shell carry on with a non clam shell opening (essentially the location of the pro panel would be the sole opening of the luggage).

As someone who gets very anxious about new situations/not knowing where to go or what to do (even when I've done research and I know all the info on paper) the visual guides and step by step walkthrough of the process is the most amazing thing I could have asked for! My exchange will last an entire year, and I will take many, MANY weekend trips, or several week trips to various European countries throughout my exchange year. I watched your Pakt review, and then your budget backpack review. My question is what are the differences for you in the two backpacks? The 80$ and 345$? Would you think investing in a Pakt would be wiser, considering the upcoming events in my life? Or could I get by with a cheaper one? Thank you.

Hi. I have 2 questions. I read that the shoulder straps are rough and their edges cut into ones chest-skin. Also the bag surface is a magnet for lint, dog and cat hair and is difficult to remove without a lint roller. Do you have any thoughts on these issues

Would be nice to have a do it all sling, but I had to retire my messenger bag and go to backpacks because of long term back issues.

I would like to offer another idea, for your consideration: FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, do you REALLY need "a pocket or strap or whatever for EACH AND EVERY thing you carry around with you?" GOOD GRIEF! All of the "organization" in these things just WASTES SPACE, as if you just absolutely COULD NOT "dig" for a few seconds into just one, big pouch. There are "Stand-up Zipper Bags" from Klein Tools, and likely other companies, that will hold some amount of stuff, without a dozen different pockets and straps and so on. For instance, I have a rather large Anker power bank, along with a high-power charger, several USB cables, a short extension cord, and so on -- just "in a bag" like these. I use a couple of those bags for my overall "organization," and I can fit whatever I want into bags like that. In the end, I have DRAWERS full of old, unused "organizers" like those mentioned here -- but what I USE are a couple of these Klein Tools bags.
